Potato Tortilla Wrap

The word Potato comes from Spanish word "Patata". They come in various varieties. Though they are primarily composed of carbohydrates, they are good source of vitamins and minerals. They contain moderate amounts of protein and fiber and almost no fat. French fries is one of the most popular dishes made from potato.

    : Prepare the Vegetables
    Wash and dry the vegetables prior to chopping (as required):
    - Potatoes: peel and cut in cubes
    - Onion and Garlic: peel and cut finely
    - Coriander: chop finely
    - Romaine Lettuce: shred
    - Tomato: deseed and slice.
    : Prepare the Potato Stuffing
    Take some water in a pot, add potatoes and boil till done (about 15-20 minutes). Drain the excess water. Mash well with a fork.

    Heat some cooking oil in a pan. When the oil is hot, add onion and garlic. Saute until they are transparent. Then add the Indian spice mix, salt, pepper and mix well. Add the mashed potato, coriander. Mix well. Remove from the flame.
    : Build the Wrap, Plate and Serve
    Spread the tortilla flat on a plate. Spread the mint chutney provided. Place lettuce, tomato and spread potato stuffing and wrap the tortilla tightly.
    Heat a pan and grill the tortilla wrap on both the sides.

    Plate and Serve while hot.
