Sweet Potato Burgers with BBQ Sauce

A medium-sized potato contains up to 18% of your daily intake of potassium. That’s the same amount that you get in a serving of broccoli or bananas. Potassium plays an important role in helping reduce blood pressure, and it’s an essential micronutrient.

    Cook the Fries
Preheat your oven to 230°C. Drizzle some cooking oil, sprinkle some salt and pepper over the fries. Place them on a baking tray and bake them in the oven for about 35 minutes.

Wash and dry your salad leaves.
    Pan Grill Your Burger
Heat some oil in a pan. Once it comes to a medium heat then grill your burger for about 3 minutes on each side. We suggest lightly warming up your burger bun as well. Split the bun in half and lightly toast in the same pan.
Build your Burger and Serve with the Fries
Once the fries are out of the oven, let them cool for about 5 minutes before serving. Build your burger with the BBQ sauce and salads and dinner is ready.
