    Your Pantry Essentials
    Utensils: pot | pan |
    Pantry: salt and pepper | your preferred cooking oil | water |
    Prepare your Ingredients
    Prawns: marinate them for about 5 to 10 minutes in the Indian spice mix provided and some salt
    Green French Beans: wash and take out the woody ends
    Coriander: wash, dry and chop
    Curry Leaves: wash and dry.
    Boil the Rice
    To boil the rice you will need 2ml of water for every 1g of rice, so :
    50g rice: 100ml water | 100g rice : 200ml water | 150g rice : 300ml water | 200g rice : 400ml water | 250g rice : 500ml water | 300g rice : 600ml water
    Bring the water to a boil and then turn down the heat for a gentle simmer. Let the rice simmer for roughly 10-15 minutes.
    Pan Grill the Prawns
    Heat a pan and then add some cooking oil. Remember, hot pan and cold oil. Then pan fry the prawns for about 2 minutes or until you the colour go slightly opaque.
    Add the curry leaves and sauté for a minute. Now add the South Indian sauce provided, add some water to get the desired consistency. Let the prawns simmer for about 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Check the seasoning.
    Sauté the Green Beans and Serve
    Heat a pan and then add some oil. Sauté the green french beans for about 3 minutes or until they are tender. Season them.

    Serve the Prawn Curry with Rice and Beans.
