Korean Style Grilled Beef

    : Prepare the Ingredients
    - Beef: cut it in cubes and marinate it for 15 minutes.
    - Rice: wash under running water and soak for 10 minutes.

    Wash and dry the vegetables prior to chopping (as required):
    - Garlic: peel and chop roughly
    - Coriander: pluck the leaves.
    : Cook the Rice
    In a medium size pot, heat some oil and add the chopped garlic. Cook until it is golden brown.
    Drain and add the rice to the pot and lightly season with salt. Now add water (roughly 2ml of water per 1g of rice). Bring it to a boil, then down to a simmer. Allow it simmer gently for 15 minutes, keep an eye on the rice. Once the rice is done, turn off the heat and let it steam with its own heat for 5 minutes before serving. Lightly fluff it with a fork if you would like to, prior to serving.
    : Grill the Beef, Plate and Serve
    Heat some oil in a pan. Start grilling the beef on all sides. The beef will just take a few minutes to cook on a hot pan.

    Plate and Serve:
    Dish out the hot garlic rice and garnish it with the chopped coriander. Place the beef on top and serve with the kimchi. Sprinkle some toasted sesame seeds to garnish.
